Having studied film composition with Amit Sen and worked closely with multi-award winning composer Nitin Sawhney, for well over a decade, it was a natural to move for Stephen to begin composing in his own right.
Commercial and Artistic Composition
Commissions include the title music for the Channel Four production An Indian Affair, several corporate video projects for Unilever and contribution of original pieces for Atamira Dance Collective's work Te Houhi New Zealand. Stephen composed the original music for the launch of the BMW 7 Urban Soul Orchestra. Stephen also continues to write original music for his own ensemble the Urban Soul Orchestra.
