Stephen formed the Urban Soul Orchestra (USO) in 1995 to create a world-class session orchestra as a vehicle for his unique string arrangements and to provide a high quality orchestral service to the music industry. The ethos behind the orchestra is to attract players with excellent technique and training that have cultivated 'groove' and musical feel that is born from listening, appreciating and playing a wide spectrum of music. The Urban Soul Orchestra reflects musically and demographically the unique cultural melting pot of London and has earned an excellent reputation as one of the UK's best studio orchestras.
